George Burns Autographed Photograph and Event Ticket

A collection of framed memorabilia celebrating famed American actor and comedian George Burns (1896 – 1996). The piece includes a silver gelatin photographic portrait of Burns, autographed in ink to the lower left. It also includes a ticket for the January 20, 1996 event ‘Event of the Century. George Burns 100th Birthday Celebration.’ at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. Burns did not actually attend the event because he fell sick, and passed away just a few months later. A plaque to the lower right says the piece is numbered 341/600, and a certificate of authenticity from Collectible Editions Ltd. is attached to the verso. The piece is double-matted in black and white and is presented behind acrylic glass in a black metal frame with a hanging wire. The piece was given a visual pass by a third-party authenticator.
