Two Offset Lithographs after Pierre Redoute Botanical Illustrations

Two offset lithograph prints after original botanical illustrations by Belgian artist Pierre Joseph Redoute (1759 – 1840). Each print depicts a solitary bloom with foliage, including Mauve Pourpre and Tagetes. The artist’s name and the title are printed to the lower right of each print. They are both presented behind a cream French style mat with a marbled border, under glass in a gold tone wood frame. Each has a hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- light toning to mats. Minor wear to frames.
