A baroque style ebonized chest on stand by Drexel. This modern interpretation of a 17th century European cabinet with its ebonized case, turned legs and intricate meandering stretchers has the additional modern decorative element of two acorn embossed leatherette panels edged in brass convex head tacks on each of the visible six drawers; each drawer with an antique brass ring pull attached to a foliate horizontal lozenge. Two additional secret drawers are in the apron of above the ornate legs. Drawers are constructed of oak secondary wood. Marked Drexel Heritage.
