A set of twelve sterling silver demitasse spoons by William B. Durgin Co. of Concord, NH (active 1853-1931). When William B. Durgin and his son George died in 1905, the company was sold to Gorham and manufacturing operations were moved to Providence, RI, and then it completely merged with Gorham in 1931. These spoons are in the Bead-Original Bead pattern, featuring a tipped handle with beaded border edges. The handles have personalized engravings to the handles and are marked to the backs ‘D’ and ‘Sterling’. The total approximate weight is 4.085 ozt.
