Carved Soapstone Figures
Item Details
A pair of carved soapstone figurines. The taller piece features a parent with their child, dressed in white and holding the child aloft with a tear drop opening in the center of the figure. It’s marked ‘Made in Kenya’ to the underside. The smaller piece depicts a stylized face carved from soapstone with a matching border.
Condition
- minor scratches found on surfaces of each piece, smaller figure features a raw soapstone surface around the carved face.
