Carved Green Soapstone Abstract Figurines
Item Details
A pair of carved green soapstone abstract figures. Each carving is an cubist representation of the head and upper torso of a human figure. The smaller figure has a tear drop shaped head with one eye and a left arm clasping the right shoulder. It is signed illegibly. The larger piece is somewhat more representational with the head ducked and right arm held across the middle.
Condition
- to fair; both have significant scratches and chips; back of smaller figure is raw soapstone, unfinished.
