A signed limited edition woodcut print titled Black Sheep by American artist Jay Seeley (born 1946) and an early 20th century British bill of sale from S.A. Jeeves & Sons. The first print depicts a solitary standing sheep. It is signed and numbered 98 out of an edition of 100 in graphite to the lower edge. Presented behind a dark brown mat, under glass in a stained wood frame with gold tone plastic trim, A wire hanger and labels with information about the print and artist are present to the verso. The second piece is a printed bill of sale, and has small illustrations of a cow and a sheep. Some information is handwritten in graphite. Presented behind a white French style mat, under glass in a gold tone wood frame. A wire hanger and a label with information about the piece are attached to the verso.
Condition
- toning to each print and mat. Minor wear to frames.
