H. Hargrove Hand-Embellished Serigraphs of Houses
Item Details
A pair of serigraphs with hand-embellished oil color after the original works by artist H. Hargrove (born Nicolo Sturiano in 1941). These paintings, both of which use colorful swathes of paint detailed with serigraphic techniques, depict a vehicle parked in the snow-covered yard of a large wooden home, and a white house standing near a flower-lined body of water, its windows glowing with a warm yellow light. Both pieces are signed toward their lower right sides, and are mounted in wooden frames with textile liners and wires for hanging.

- notations and markings to the verso of both canvases; accretion present to verso of canvases and frames; general light wear to frames.
