H. Hargrove Hand-Embellished Serigraphs of Covered Bridges

A pair of serigraphs with hand-embellished oil color on canvas after originals works by H. Hargrove (née Nicolo Sturiano, born 1941). These pieces depict covered bridges that pass over streams with trees and grass the colors of autumn. In one, a man leads a horse and wagon through the bridge, and in the other a man sits on the bank fishing, while an empty rowboat floats in the stream. They are both signed to the lower right corner in screen and presented in stained wood frames with linen liners and hanging hardware to the verso.
Condition
- frames have some slight surface wear.
