Cherokee Wood Flute with Beading and Feathers

Item Details

A Cherokee wood flute with beading and feathers. The flute is rounded to one end with a bird atop one of the many holes along the top of it. There is a beaded band around the neck of the flute with beads attached. The piece was donated to the Whirling Thunder Memorial Pow Wow and was made by Patrick Derenberger, a Cherokee craftsman from Ohio.
