A hand-colored photogravure reproduction after the original work titled Early Foliage by listed artist and minister Wallace Nutting (1861 – 1941). This work depicts a dirt road lined by birch trees lightly scattered with leaves. It is signed and titled in ink by an unknown hand to its lower margin, and is mounted on an off-white matting under glass in a black frame without hardware for hanging.

Condition

- fair; significant discoloration to image and ground; wear to edges and corners of image as well as protective box.
