A hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool carpet runner. The runner features five lobed medallions on a deep red field. They have been worked in shades of dove gray, claret, scarlet, coffee, steel gray, cadet blue, taupe, coral, and white. The field is infilled with stylized geometric floral motifs.The narrow compound border includes a running water pattern guard border and a flower and meander border. There is natural gray wool fringe to each end. Unmarked.
