A vintage oil painting on canvas of Lake Como by well-listed Austrian artist Alois Arnegger (1879 – 1967). This landscape depicts Italian architecture with lush gardens at the edge of a vast lake curving toward the left of the composition, with the foothills of the Alps receding into the distance beyond. The work is signed in paint to the lower right and presented in a gold tone wood and gesso frame, wired to hang.
