This painterly work, appearing to be rendered with palette knife techniques, depicts the figure against an orange and red ground, gazing toward the viewer with her lips slightly pursed. This painting is presented in a carved wooden frame with a textile-patterned liner and hanging hardware to its verso.
Condition
- top piece of liner is missing; frame has over all surface wear; canvas has been scratched though the left eye; drip along left side of painting.
