Early 19th-Century Biedermeier Récamier

Item Details

An early nineteenth-century Biedermeier récamier. The récamier has a flat, scrolled frame and legs, and it is padded and upholstered in a peacock blue velveteen fabric with turquoise blue welting. No maker’s marks.

  • Please note, this is an item that may be especially difficult to move and/or transport. Unless shipping arrangements are available and made by the winning bidder, that individual is advised to bring appropriate assistance, vehicle, proper materials, and any necessary tools to pickup.
  • Please be advised, furniture items must be picked up and removed by winning bidder during the scheduled pick-up time on pick-up day. A moving charge will be incurred by winning bidders for any items not picked up. If winning bidder chooses to not have the item moved for alternate pick-up, the winning bidder will incur a disposal fee to have the item removed.
