"The Rattlesnake" and "Bronco Buster" Reproduction Sculptures After Frederic Remington

A pair of miniature reproduction sculptures in metal after works by listed American artist Frederic Sackrider Remington (1861-1909). Includes Bronco Buster, originally sculpted in 1895, which depicts a cowboy fighting to stay on a bucking bronco. Also includes The Rattlesnake, originally sculpted in 1905, featuring a horse leaping away in fright from a rattlesnake as his rider hangs on and grabs his hat. Each piece is signed in mold to the metal base and mounted on a green marble plinth.

Condition

- significant oxidation to “Bronco Buster”; accretion and light wear to both.
