A collection of Japanese sake cups and dishes. This assortment contains twenty-one cups with a wide variety of patterns and designs with each piece commemorating a moment in Japanese military history and significant battles; with these pieces often being given as gifts to enlisted men and officers in the military. The maker’s or artisan’s marks if present are on the undersides of the pieces.
