Kier Mixed Media Sculptures and a Carved Molinillo
Item Details
A collection of Folk Art. This includes two mixed media sculptures that incorporate tea bags, one depicting a soldier with a molded helmeted face above a board body. It is signed ‘Kier’ in the bottom right, with a personalized dedication on the back. It is presented with a sculpture depicting a Southeast Asian man with a pack across his shoulders. It is unsigned but believed to be from the same artist as the other sculpture The lot also includes a carved wooden molinillo used to stir Mexican hot chocolate.
Condition
- the molinillo features minor surface wear with a break along the top band; the sculptures show more significant surface wear with scratches and discoloration.
