Silver Plated Tableware Including Oneida Nobility Plate "Caprice"

A generous assortment of silver plate tableware. This assortment includes a set of four coasters with cut glass inserts by Godinger, two wide rimmed nut dishes, one scalloped nut dish, two round trays with engraved centers and gadroon trim, and a set of Nobility Plate flatware in the Caprice pattern by Oneida. The pattern was originally introduced in 1937, featuring squared handles with a chased floral design peeking through curved panels. This set includes two dinner forks, five iced tea spoons, five hollow handle dinner knives, five salad forks, one pierced server, one cold meat fork, one gravy ladle, seven teaspoons, three oval soup spoons, and one round soup spoon. The backs of the handles are marked ‘Nobility Plate’ with four pictorial royal crown marks.

Condition

- the coasters present in original packaging; the other items feature various stages of surface wear including scratches and tarnish; some of the flatware is significantly tarnished with nicks on the edges.
