Pair of Vintage Decorated Trays Featuring Tole
Item Details
A pair of vintage decorated trays featuring Tole. This pair features two black painted metal trays including an oval tray with a floral pattern in a palette of yellow, cream, red, and green. There is no visible maker’s mark to this piece. Also included is a hand decorated circular tray with a berry and foliate design in a muted palette of brown, cream, and dark red. The tray is marked ‘Tole Pilgrim Art No. 202’ to the underside. There is a coiled wire spring on the back for display purposes.
Condition
- wear consistent with age, scuffs throughout; loss of paint, scratches, residue to underside of trays.
