Porcelain Plates Including Oscar & Edgar Gutherz
Item Details
An assortment of thirteen porcelain plates. The plates feature floral. foliate, scroll, and vine designs in a variety of patterns and colors with silver and gold gilding to the edges. The vintage Heinrich & Co. plate is marked ‘H & Co. Selb Bavaria’ indicating production in the 1930s and it was imported by Edgerton. The Haviland plate was produced between 1894-1931 while the Thomas plate was produced between 1908-1938. The antique Oscar & Edgar Gutherz plate was produced between 1898-1918 and is marked ‘O & E. G. Royal’ to the underside. Other represented makers include Lefton, Nippon, and Embassy.
Condition
- some plates have fading of gilt trim and paint; scuffs and marks to undersides.
