Circa 1940s Vintage Formal Haori Jacket
Item Details
A 1940s vintage formal silk haori jacket. This black silk crepe jacket has silver urushi hand brocaded lacquer and platinum thread design. This design features a smaller gold metallic kiku pattern with larger red, silver and bronze metallic kiku throughout. A pink striped silk damask lines the shoulders and sleeves. A yuzen resist dyed kamon is present to the back of the shoulders.
