A vintage Neoclassical style mahogany writing desk by Johnson Furniture Company. This rectangular top desk with molded trim features four side by side drawers with recessed panels and decorative brass plates with ring pulls over a hinged folding panel with leather inlay writing surface. The lower base features two aligned drawers with dovetail joinery. The desk rises on tapering legs. A drawer interior is marked ‘Johnson Furniture Company’.
