A set of four Burmese bronze opium weights in the form of a Chinthe. Opium weights are used by the mountain tribes of Burma, Laos and Thailand for weighing opium and everyday use. Everyday use includes acting as weights on scales for foods, raw materials and metals. The weights are unmarked.
