An oil portrait on canvas of a jockey named Issac Murphy, painted by artist Jean Esaman Walker. This work depicts Murphy, who was known to have ridden three Kentucky Derby-winning horses, in a yellow-and-white striped uniform, his face turned slightly away from the viewer. This painting is signed and dated ‘1985’ to its lower right corner, and is mounted in a gold tone frame with black vine-like detailing, a hanging wire and a notation regarding Murphy’s race history to its verso.
