A signed oil painting on canvas of a nude couple. The work is signed to the bottom right corner and reads ‘Schmid’ and dated ‘65’. The abstract figural painting depicts two nude figures in seated and kneeling positions. It is presented in a gold tone metal frame with a wire present to the verso for hanging purposes.
Condition
- loss of media to the lower right corner; scratches and wear to frame; painting could benefit from a cleaning; craquelure present in the arms of both figures.
