A signed 1976 limited edition color lithograph on paper titled Self-Portrait by well-listed and prolific Dutch Expressionist, Karel Appel (Amsterdam/Paris/New York; 1921-2006). The print depicts an abstract face in bright colors. It is signed, dated and numbered 38/99 by hand in graphite to the lower margins. It is matted in white and presented behind glass in a silver tone aluminum frame with a metal hanging wire to the verso.
Appel’s work is represented in the collections of major museums in the United States, Canada, England, France, and Holland.

Condition

- discoloration to print; scratches and nicks to frame; wear throughout frame’s finish.
