Power-Loomed Oriental Weavers "Ramses Collection" Area Rug

A power-loomed Ramses Collection area rug by Oriental Weavers of America. This American-made Olefin rug features a Persian Kerman-inspired floral design in a palette of azure, midnight blue, burgundy, and ivory. It begins with a very large ogival medallion, which is filled with flowers and rests on an open azure lozenge. The lozenge, in turn, rests on a midnight blue field populated with flowers, vines, and vase forms. Framing the field are six borders, including a primary border grounded in ivory and filled with palmettes, flowers, leaves, and vines. Selvedges are serged. Ends finish with applied ivory fringe. The rug is labeled on the reverse.
