19th-Century Engravings After Richard Cook for Scott's "The Lady of the Lake"
Item Details
A set of 19th-century engravings on paper after illustrations by Richard Cook taken from an 1811 printing of Sir Walter Scott’s The Lady of the Lake published by Longman and Co. of London. Included are six engravings, one from each canto, from engravers including F. Engleheart, Charles Heath, Charles Warren, C. Armstrong and A. Smith. The prints are taken from pages 25, 57, 110, 173, 222 and 288 of the book and presented unframed.
Condition
- toning and foxing throughout; wear, staining, folding and crease marks to edges; unframed.
