An Iberian needlepoint room size area rug. The rug has intricate floral and foliate designs in violet, lavender, shades of green, pink and red over a white ground. A pink principal border has meandering vines and large scale palmette, floral racemes and vine work in the field colors. The piece is marked ‘Iberian Needlepoint’ on the underside.
