Vintage Japanese "Old Blue Willow" Tableware

Item Details

A selection of vintage Japanese Old Blue Willow tableware from the first half of the 20th century. This set includes four salad plates, four cereal bowls, eight bread and butter plates, one teapot, and three teacups featuring a scenic design of a pagoda on a hill with an old willow tree stretching out over a cliff with a river that leads to a harbor and two bird flying overhead. The rim of each piece is decorated in a diamond design with geometric and foliate style accents. The base of each piece is marked ‘Japan’.
