A Gilbert Clock Co.1896 Hawk mantel clock. The clock is a gingerbread style with a pressed oak wood frame and decorative shaped bonnet accented with wood flowers on the corners. The clock has a glass front door with a gilded floral design that displays a brass bezel and white face with black Roman numerals and black spade hands. Other features of the clock include a brass pendulum with a scrollwork design, chimes, and the clock has a rectangular shape with a shelf and plinth style base. The clock is labeled ‘Gilbert Clock Co.’ to the face and verso.
