A vintage Schatz German carriage style mantel clock. This clock features a unique case with a traditional wooden base and removable upper portion comprised of brass framed glass pane sides and a wooden molded pediment. The gold and ivory toned clock face displays black Roman and Arabic numerals, three key holes, and partially marked ‘Schatz’. The verso shows the clock mechanism and marked in multiple places ‘Seven (7) Jewels’, ‘Aug. Schatz & Sohne Germany’, ‘Silent St. Mich.’
