A Navajo carved and horsehair raku-fired stoneware vase by Victoria Brown. This piece features distinctive qualities often found in Navajo pottery including intricate geometric patterning and distinctive lines and shading on the glaze as a result of the raku process, by burning horsehair directly on the piece as it was hot from the kiln. The piece is marked by the artist to the reverse, VMB and includes the original artist paper label.
