H. Hargrove and C. Carson Oil Paintings of Snowy Barns
Item Details
A pair of oil paintings of snowy barns by artists H. Hargrove (born Nicolo Sturiano in 1941) and C. Carson. Both paintings, which appear to incorporate serigraphic techniques, and depict barns standing in snow-covered barnyards, a dusky atmospheric sky to the background of each. These pieces are marked with the artist’s signature toward their lower left corners, and are mounted in wooden frames with textile liners and hanging wires to their versos.
Condition
- fair; some foxing to surface of both; scuff marks and dents throughout; frames have surface wear.
