A painted zebra figurine by visionary folk artist, poet, and musician Reverend Howard Finster (American, 1916-2001), best known for his unique, outsider artwork that is often covered in Bible verses and other words. The piece depicts a black and white zebra mounted to a wood base. The zebra is hand-painted with stripes to the front and biblical lyrics to the verso. Additional lyrics are written on paper and applied to the wood base.
