An antique Late Classical mahogany sofa, circa second quarter of the 19th century. The veneered frame is upholstered in striped, burgundy fabric. It features a serpentine, beaded crest above a padded back and seat flanked by closed, outscrolled arms. The sofa rises on scrolled, front legs and square, back legs ending in wooden casters.
