Kenyan Makonde Ebony Sculpture
Item Details
A Makonde ebony sculpture from Kenya. This ethnographic wooden sculpture features a totem of men lifting one another up towards the sky. Meticulous detailing is carved throughout and is shown in the texture of the cloth and the wave of the hair. This sculpture is unmarked by artist, but has a ‘Made in Kenya,’ sticker to the reverse.
