Victorian Eastlake Walnut European Sideboard with Hutch

Item Details

A Victorian European Eastlake walnut sideboard with hutch circa 1880s. The hutch features a two cabinets united on top with a highly embellished crown. The crown employs cut scroll work, detailed trim and a tiered pediment. The cabinet doors are carved with scrolled floral designs on the raised panels and carved acanthus leaves on the ribbed pilasters. The hutch rests on turned posts atop the marble topped sideboard. The sideboard features dovetailed, bowed and ribbed drawer fronts over two cabinet doors. The cabinet doors have carved panels and the piece sets on bun feet.
