Antique School Desk and Chair

Item Details

An antique school desk and chair. The desk and chair are both constructed from wood and wrought iron. The bases are marked ‘ASC’ which stands for American Seating Company out of Grand Rapids Michigan. The company switched to tubular steel in 1911 which makes the wrought iron combinations antique. The seat backs promoted good posture and the desk top features an inkwell hole and pencil groove.
