Item Details
A pair of vintage vanity pieces by Wm. B. Kerr & Co. (active c.1880s – 1926, Newark, NJ). This set includes a matching hand mirror and hairbrush featuring chased patterns of scrolled foliage bands with reel trim, as well as personal engravings to the back reading, ‘MFC’. The frame of each is stamped to one side with the Wm. B. Kerr & Co. ax maker’s mark, alongside ‘Sterling 2800 H’.
Condition
- light surface wear including scratches and tarnish; scratch to mirror; light discoloration and damage to brush bristles; each haver personal engravings.
