A pair of woodblock prints on paper after Kono Bairei and Ohara Koson. Featured is a work titled Geese and the Moon after an original woodblock by Japanese artist Kono Bairei (幸野 楳嶺; 1844-1895). This piece depicts a pair of geese flowing in a front of a full moon. This piece has kanji and a red seal to the lower left corner. The title of the work and artist name is written in English on the mat. Also included is a work titled Geese Christmas Card after and original woodblock by Japanese artist Ohara Koson (小原 古邨; 1877-1945). Depicted are two white geese by a stream. A red seal is present to the lower right of the piece. An illegible graphite inscription to present to the lower right of the mat. Both works are presented unframed.
