A watercolor painting on paper by listed artist Maud Hollyer (1867-1910). This piece depicts a rural country cottage with a front garden full of flowers and ivy creeping up the sides of the house. A girl wearing a blue dress and carrying a basket is walking down the front path towards the road. It is signed by hand to the lower center and presented behind a textured mat and glass in a gold tone frame with gesso molding and wire to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- minor discoloration to paper; nicks and scratches around the frame.
