A hand-knotted Persian Kashan wool area rug. This rug features a palette of crimson, indigo, sky blue, ivory, rose, ochre, and green, beginning with a central medallion filled and surrounded with an abundance of floral motifs, along with indigo, ivory, and sky blue spandrels. The field is framed with meandering flower, and herati guard borders and a main herati border. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and a natural warp ivory fringe. Unlabeled.
