A mid to late 20th century artist’s proof relief print on rag paper by listed New York artist David Shapiro (1916 – 2005) titled After the Snow. The piece depicts a lone abstract figure set against a minimalist off-white landscape of textured bare trees. The work is signed, titled and noted as ’Artist’s Proof’ in graphite to the lower margin. It is matted in cream with a black bevel and presented under glass in a black wooden frame with silver tone metal accent, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- slight toning to paper and matting; scuffing, nicks and wear to frame; gaps to metal joints of frame; tears to backing paper at verso.
