A vintage hand-knotted Persian Tabriz wool area rug. This rug features a vibrant palette of ivory, indigo, fuchsia, cerulean, sepia, and saffron, beginning with a large arabesque central medallion on an ivory field surrounded by ornate floral motifs in sprays and borders. The field is then framed in an indigo border of a herati pattern, along with a pair of meandering flower guards. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and a natural warp ivory fringe. Labeled ‘Hand Woven Carpet & Rug, Hand Made in Iran’.
