A wood engraving on paper titled The Last Apple by W.L.Sheppard and published in Harper’s Weekly. This print depicts a boy up in a tree dangling an apple above the heads of three other children. The title of the piece, the name of the publication and the original artist name are present to the upper and lower margins of the main image. Mounted under a single layer of gray matting, the print is presented under glass in a gold tone wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes and a framer’s decal are present to the verso.
