A hand-knotted Persian Heriz area rug. The rug features a stepped central diamond medallion with chained pendants over a rust colored lozenge field. The medallion, field, and spandrels are decorated with intricate vine and floral design elements. Circling the field is a chained S-form principal border. Cotton warp fringe is present at either end of the rug.
