Item Details
A porcelain serving bowl and plate by Shibata Chinaware. This pairing features imagery of colorful peonies and flowers in pastel shades of yellow, peach and pink. The bowl is two-toned with a white backdrop to the interior and black backdrop to the exterior. The plate features a black backdrop and an octagonal shape. Pieces are marked to the underside. Marked ‘Designed by Shibata Chinaware Ltd Japan Since 1949’ alongside ’Shibata Ceramics ’(柴田陶器) to underside.
