A limited edition color lithograph on paper of a stag by listed artist Fritz Axel From (Swedish, 1925 – 2008). This abstract image depicts a lone stag standing in the foreground and a mountain range dusted with snow in the distance. It is signed, dated ‘1955’, and numbered ‘58/165’ by hand in graphite to the lower margins. The print is matted in off-white and presented behind glass in a gold tone wooden frame with beige linen lining and a hanging string to the verso.

Condition

- discoloration to print and mat; some residue and debris present on linen lining; loose frame joints; nicks and scratches to frame; wear throughout frame’s finish; wear to the verso.
